Add a contract

The following instructions are for creating a new contract from scratch.

To add a contract:

  1. On the Contracts page, check that you are in the desired simulation. If you are not, then from the Current view drop-down, select the desired simulation.

  2. In the menu on the left, click New Contract.

    A new row is added to the bottom of the list of contracts.

  3. In the new row, type a name for the contract (e.g., Medicare Blue Cross). Do not use special characters.

  4. Click Save.

    You do not need to enter the latest expiration date in this area because that is defined by the versions A defined time frame for the contract. The time frame can be from the time period on a certain contract where the terms remain consistent. It can represent the fiscal year, or it can represent the calendar year. built under the contract.

  5. (Optional) If desired, add an attribute to the contract.
  6. Next, add a version to the contract.
